About No1 Garage Doors

We match garage door enquiries with local engineers who cover the caller's area. When you submit a quote request, we pass your details and a description of the job to an engineer who can visit you. That engineer then contacts you directly to arrange a survey and give a firm price.

Alongside the quote service, we maintain a reference library of UK garage door content. It covers realistic installed price ranges by door type, guidance on the six common UK door types, fault-diagnosis pages for the most frequent problems, and city pages that cover local housing stock across the areas we serve.

You submit a quote request describing your door, the job and your location. We then pass this to an engineer covering your area. That engineer contacts you directly, usually to arrange a site survey. Any price they quote is agreed between you and them. We do not carry out installation or repair work ourselves. Nor do we take payment on the engineer's behalf.

Every price shown on this site is indicative guidance. It's drawn from real UK market data and quoted against a fixed reference opening of 2290mm by 2250mm, inclusive of VAT and standard installation. A binding price always needs a site survey, though, since opening size and access genuinely change the cost.

We don't hold or claim any manufacturer accreditation, trade-body membership or industry award unless we can show genuine evidence of it. At present we publish no such claims, simply because we don't hold them. We also don't display customer reviews or star ratings anywhere on this site.
