Sectional door

A sectional door is made of several hinged horizontal panels that travel vertically up into the roof space along a track, rather than pivoting outward as a single panel.

Because it moves straight up rather than swinging out, a sectional door allows a vehicle to be parked right up against it. It typically costs more than an up-and-over but offers better insulation and can incorporate a pedestrian access door.
