Round-the-corner door

A round-the-corner door is an up-and-over variant whose track curves at the top of the opening to run back along the garage side wall instead of straight along the ceiling, used where roof space is limited.

This layout is chosen when there is insufficient headroom or ceiling depth for a standard up-and-over track, letting the door retract along the wall instead. It is a specialist option rather than a common default.
